Taylor Swift<\/b>‘s “Cruel Summer” has tied her own record for the most weeks atop Billboard<\/i>‘s Pop Airplay Chart.<\/p>\n
The song, from her 2019 album Lover<\/i>, returned to No. 1 for a seventh total week on the chart dated September 30.<\/p>\n
Swift’s “I Knew You Were Trouble” led the Pop Airplay Chart for seven weeks in 2013.<\/p>\n
The record for the most leaders in the Pop Airplay Chart’s three-decade-long history – 12 songs – remains in the name of Swift, one ahead of Maroon 5<\/b>, Katy Perry<\/b> and Rihanna<\/b>.<\/p>\n
The pop icon has been performing “Cruel Summer” on her ongoing The Eras Tour. She opens the shows with the chorus of “Miss Americana & the Heartbreak Prince,” leading into “Cruel Summer.”<\/p>\n
