The LDS Church is a mainstream group that has as its goal to convert the world to their faith. This includes convincing people to get rid of their other faiths. Heres the ad: If this ad were directed at a religion other than the one it is directed at, you would be rightfully questioning if it is appropriate for this type of thing. If someone were to send a bomb threat to the Mormon Temple in Santa Clara, California, that is located on a residential street, you would be asking yourself if the church is telling people to get rid of their fellow Mormons. You would be very concerned about this type of thing happening. I am not saying that this isnt a good thing, I am asking, Why. The question is not as simple as because they are Christians. I know that I, and others like me, have nothing against Christians. The question is why do you think that it would be more beneficial to your faith for people to get rid of all other faiths. Is it because you want to turn the world into your own personal heaven. Is it because you believe that your religion is superior to no religion at all. If that is the case, why would you want the followers of other religions to hate you as much as you hate them. Your religion seems superior because that is your motivation. Why is your religion so superior that you are willing to make the destruction of other religions a part of your goal. Is it because you are a Christian and you have some sort of special bond with Jesus Christ. Do you think because you are a Christian, you are exempt from the laws of common sense and humanity. The Atonement is your special way of getting rid of your sins. The church teaches that everything is covered in the blood of Jesus Christ and every sin will be covered in that blood. You see, if you are a follower of Christ and you have lost your way, you go to this church and you are given the redemption you need. The Church has an amazing story to tell about how Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died for your sin because of your sins. Thats why you are still here and thats why you are allowed to have children. Your religion tells you that you are special. Why are you even allowed to use this religion. If you dont want to believe in Jesus Christ, then dont believe in him. If you dont want to become a follower of Jesus Christ, then dont become.
