TOWIE’s Bobby Norris praised as he completes training to administer coronavirus vaccine to help NHS

Bobby Noris has been praised as he announced he has completed training to vaccinate people with the coronavirus jab, after battling the virus over Christmas.

Former The Only Way Is Essex star Bobby, 34, shared his hopes to support the NHS in their drive to vaccinate people across the UK amid the pandemic as he unveiled the news.

Bobby made the incredible announcement to his 813,000 Instagram followers as he posted a snap of himself posing with his certificate to show his qualification as a volunteer vaccinator.

Within the post Bobby, who recently shared a photo of himself with long blonde hair before his TOWIE fame, also showed a photo of himself wearing personal protective equipment and practicing giving a jab to someone.

And more photos showed leaflets and a T-shirt from his time on the course.

In the caption of the post, Bobby shared his news and opened up about his decision to train as a volunteer vaccinator.

He wrote: “Today I completed my training as a COVID-19 Volunteer Vaccinator.

“This pandemic has affected us all in one way or another and after contracting the virus myself over Christmas and finding out first hand just how awful it really is, I decided that once I was better I wanted to do whatever I could to help others.

“I’m really looking forward to getting out there and doing my part in supporting the NHS in the rollout of the vaccine..”

Bobby’s announcement received more than 55,000 likes from fans while celebrity friends and fans praised the star for his achievement.

Georgia Kousoulou,who recently appeared to confirm her unborn baby’s gender, wrote: “Yes Bobby! This is amazing” followed by two red heart emojis.

While Chloe Meadows added: “Aww yay same as my mummy!” And Luisa Zissman said: “Bobby that’s amazing!”

Fans also praised the star and made a jibe at some influencers jetting abroad as they said: “Better than the ones swanning off to different countries amid such a terrible and difficult time for everyone. Brilliant” followed by a high five emoji.

Another echoed with: “The type of social media influencer I love… Great work Bobby xxx”.

As a third praised: “I knew it would be u who would do something worth while. And not jet off to Mexico or dubai Bravo.”

Bobby was struck with coronavirus over Christmas and was forced to spend the festive period in bed as he recovered from the virus.

After managing to get out of bed, he posed in front of his Christmas tree and opened up on his experience with the virus in an Instagram share.

He wrote: “Coronavirus has completely wiped me out this Christmas, and I’m still not feeling great but I have managed to get out of bed today so I’m taking that as a positive!!

“Thank you again to everyone who has taken the time to send me such lovely messages, it’s very much appreciated.”
