Now you come to the most important aspect of the article. I dont know about you, but I feel like Im missing something. Something I did not know, something I never will know. Something I need to experience a life-changing moment so bad, that I have learned how to live my truth. Youre a privileged white woman whos been living with a delusion for many, many years. As a matter of fact, you didnt fully understand your own delusion until just last year. Youre probably feeling like, Oh my god, I cant believe I missed so much in just a year. But this is me:Heres me in 2016 in my underwear. Here I am in an ad on the beach with a hot guy. Youve been living a lie for so long. In fact, youre happy with every inch of your delusion. Im not going to tell you that you cant still be an ally to the LGBTQ community, no matter how much you are feeling disappointed in the status quo. Im also not going to tell you to put off your identity and just move on. And thats what Im going to talk about now in no particular order. We live in a world that is not ready to accept us. Even in this century where the LGBTQ community is at an all time high.
