Sara Davies, 37, took to the dancefloor alongside her dance partner Aljaz Skorjanec, 31, on last night’s episode of Strictly Come Dancing. The Dragons Den star performed a sultry Argentine Tango to Enough is Enough by disco legend Donna Summers.

Taking to Instagram yesterday, the entrepreneur shared a clip from her performance which received an impressive score from the Strictly judges.

The dancing duo scored an impressive 32 points out of a total of 40.

Sara and Aljaz were awarded a solid nine from Anton Du Beke.

Craig Revel Horwood scored them a seven, while Motsi Mabuse and Shirley Ballas both gave the pair eights.

In view of her 136,000 followers, Sara shared the clip taken from BBC’s Strictly’s official account.

The caption read: “We couldn’t get enough of @saradaviescc and @aljazskorjanec’s Argentine Tango #Strictly.”

But some viewers took to the comment section and claimed the dance had been overmarked.

Gina Marie remarked: “Liked it but think she was overmarked.”

Mrs Cheese agreed: “Overmarked, unfortunately. Dan [Walker] and AJ [Odudu] were much better and the scores didn’t reflect that at all.”

Easton said: “I have supported Sara every week but sadly I didn’t enjoy this evening’s dance.”

However, others praised Sara’s routine as they shared the dancing duo earned their vote.

Jeanell commented: “Undermarked. This was incredible.”

Shell Hazell penned: “You all work so hard. Thank you for entertaining us all week after week.”

Teresa added: “Loved it! Fingers crossed you get through to musicals week.”

Meanwhile, Sara couldn’t hold back the tears following her performance on Strictly after she watched a tear-jerking video.

It comes after she immediately burst into tears upon seeing her loved ones on-screen wishing her luck in the rest of her Strictly journey as she continues to impress the judge’s week after week.

Her Strictly professional partner Aljaz could also be seen wiping the tears from his eyes as the cameras zoomed into him weeping as he clung to Sara.

Host Claudia Winkleman unveiled the heartwarming video surprise.

She said: “Your family watches you every single week, wherever they are in the world. Let’s have a look at this all the way from New Zealand.”

Sara’s family could be heard saying: “Auntie Lynne and all your family here from New Zealand.

“We miss you so much, we’re watching your Strictly journey every step of the way and we are so proud.”

Strictly Come Dancing results show continues tonight on BBC One at 7pm.
