Anton and Giovanni’s Adventures in Sicily aired on BBC One this evening (March 21).

Julia commented: “@BBCOne Just started watching Anton & Giovanni’s Adventures in Sicily. I adore watching anything featuring Sicily, and I love Giovanni. However, I didn’t get past the first 15 minutes because it was so infuriatingly puerile”
Buoy Julian tweeted: “Love travel programmes ordinarily… Anton and Giovanni BBC adventure is excruciating after just five minutes.”
Chrissie agreed: “Anton & Giovanni’s Sicily Adventure was something I was looking forward to but it’s just 2 men acting like kids no depth to it at all..cancel series record!”
