Roman Kemp fans in hysterics over impressions of stars – including Love Islands Davide
Roman Kemp has been leaving fans in hysterics over his impressions of famous faces.
The Capital Breakfast host, who recently spoke out on his sleep apnea, posted a video on his social media last night in which he did impressions of stars including Harry Styles, Iain Stirling, Caitlyn Jenner – and Love Island’s Davide Sanclimenti.
“Welcome to TikTok, where this time around Davide is trying to tell Ekin-Su what she should put on her CV!” the 29 year old quipped in the Love Island voiceover star's voice.
“You’ve got to put that you’re an actress and a liar, now shut the f**k up,” he replied in Davide’s voice.
The exchange poked fun at the eventful romance between Davide and fellow islander Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu on the TV show, which comes to an end on Monday 1 August.
Roman then turned his attention to Caitlyn Jenner, as he exclaimed: “Not just another day, it’s another day to excel baby!” before moving on to Harry Styles, admitting in the singer’s voice that “no one wanted to see me do this impression again, but here it is one more time in its lovely glory.”
For the remainder of the one-minute video, the radio host stayed on comfortable ground with some favourite impressions that included former England football captain Rio Ferdinand, ex-One Direction star Liam Payne, and legendary broadcaster Sir David Attenborough.
Celebrity pals including actor Adam Thomas and rapper ArrDee were quick to comment, as was Iain himself, who simply commented five crying with laughter emojis.
Fans were in stitches too, as one commented that the video “was immaculate”, while another said: “You, sir, are a bloody legend”.
Another follower wrote: “Oh my god hilarious, i didnt know you could do impressions!”
“This cheered me up today thanks love ya,” said another of Roman’s followers.
Other fans were quick to tag their friends, or simply added crying laughing or heart emojis.
Roman’s shared various impressions of his fellow stars in the past, but really became known for them during his stint on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2019, on which he entertained fellow contestants – including Caitlyn – by poking fun at hosts Ant and Dec.
He’s since showcased his impressions on shows including Celebrity Juice, The One Show, Celebrity Gogglebox, and his own radio show.
Roman, the son of actor and former Spandau Ballet star Martin Kemp, finished in third place on the show, behind Andy Whyment and winner Jacqueline Jossa.
Back in January, he got a taste of his own medicine on his own show, as guest Katy Perry treated him to some impressions of her own.
The singer put on her best English accents to do impressions of Adele, her actor husband Orlando Bloom, and Roman himself.
