The New York Mets have released right-hander Matt Reynolds, according to a team press release. Since the team hasnt been able to get much out of him this season, hes been a big question mark heading into Spring Training. Reynolds has had his struggles in the majors and hes just 25 years old. If he can somehow turn his season around, he could probably be had for a low-cost deal on the free agent market, which would be a nice piece to have.
