Naga Munchetty, 45, wrote on Instagram that she was “cooling down” after an intense workout session today, as she shared a snap of herself drenched in sweat with BBC Breakfast playing in the background. The TV star explained that she had felt inspired to go for a “run” after workout guru Mr Motivator had invited her colleague Charlie Stayt to “workout in a leotard” on the programme.
That spurred me on
Naga wrote: “Cooling down with my @bbcbreakfast buddies.
“It’s been some time since I felt strong while running – Today was that day – Felt good.
“Maybe it was Mr Motovator inviting Charlie to workout with him in a leotard that spurred me on…? (sic)
“Hope you have a lovely Saturday. #10kin50mins.” she added.

Mr Motivator appeared on BBC Breakfast today after receiving an MBE in the Queen’s birthday honours list.
The fitness instructor, 67, whose real name is Derrick Evans, has been awarded the honour for services to health and fitness, after creating online home exercises during the lockdown.
He also hosted a week-long workout with actress Linda Lusardi to raise money for Age UK’s Emergency Coronavirus Appeal.
Naga is herself a keen golfer and often spends time practising the sport, but it appears she is now stepping up her exercise by incorporating daily running into her routine.
Underneath her post, fans commented to praise her commitment to keeping fit.
One wrote: “That’s good, you are a wonderful girl Naga..that’s an excellent time for 10k also, have a lovely day and keep safe and well Naga.”
Another replied: “Always lovely to see you Naga. You always look so beautiful.”
A third commented: “Wow amazing time!”

Over on Twitter, one of her followers said: “@BBCBreakfast @MrMotivator Charlie in a leotard has to be done. @TVNaga01 what do you think?” (sic)
Naga responded: “Yes please.”
This week, Naga has been absent from her duties on BBC Breakfast after she took time away from filming.
Louise Minchin stepped in to host the show alongside Charlie during Naga’s well-deserved break.
Louise and her co-star Dan Walker usually present BBC Breakfast on Mondays to Wednesdays, while Naga and Charlie fill the Thursday and Friday slots.
Naga joined the show in 2009 as a relief presenter, before becoming one of the team’s main presenters in 2014.
However, fans were confused as to why the 45-year-old was not on screens, as they demanded to know where she had gone over on social media.
One queried: “What’s happened to Naga?”
A BBC representative confirmed Naga was on leave when contacted by Express.co.uk.
