Michelle Keegan has marked Father's Day by sharing a touching tribute to her dad Mike.

In a series of sweet throwback snaps shared to her Instagram on Sunday afternoon, the former Coronation Street actress labelled herself "lucky" in a gushing message to her father.

"Happy Fathers Dad @pips1566 'When I'm at my best I'm my father's daughter' I feel very lucky to call you my dad. Love you," the 34 year old wrote lovingly in the caption.

In one image, Mike is seen holding Michelle when she was a baby, while in another, the father and daughter duo pose for the camera while enjoying a recent glamorous event.

Michelle's followers couldn't resist commenting on the sweet tribute, with one person writing: "This is so cute!!" alongside a red heart emoji.

"Sure your dad is so proud of you!" another person sweetly wrote.

Celebrity Big Brother star Ryan Thomas and reality star Dawn Ward both left red heart emojis.

Michelle's Father's Day tribute comes just a few days after she shared a rare snap with her mother, Jacqueline.

The mother-daughter duo were all smiles as they posed together for the launch of Michelle's Spectrum beauty launch.

The brunette beauty's launch comes after it was reported that she and husband Mark Wright felt like their new home project was cursed after they were forced into a hotel while they wait for renovations.

A source told new! magazine: "It seems to be one thing after another with the house.

"Both Mark and Michelle feel like the new home is cursed as something seems to go wrong every week.

"It's already proving more costly than they originally thought, and having to stay in a hotel only pushes the price up further. It's small, piddly things going wrong time and time again," the insider continued.

Michelle and Mark are currently staying in the River Suite at the swanky Corinthia Hotel in London, where prices start at £2,510 per night.
