Malik Beasley’s Ex Admits Son, 9 Mos. Is Her ‘Rock’ As NBA Star Goes Public With Larsa Pippen

Malik Beasley’s ex, Montana Yao, is focused on being the best mom to their 9-month-old son as his romance with Larsa Pippen heats up. See Montana’s latest message just weeks after she filed for divorce from Malik.

Montana Yao went on a “late night vent sesh” on December 23, about the special bond with she shares with her 9-month-old son Makai. “Really love this boy more than life itself,” she wrote on top of a black background, via Instagram Stories. “I grew up an only child with older parents. Moved around schools a lot growing up and haven’t had a lot of staple people in my life except my incredible parents. When I tell you this boy is my everything. He is my LIFE.”

She continued by explaining, “One of my biggest fears was always being scared of being alone after my parents.. in terms of having a family it’s just been us 3 my whole life. Looking at Makai everyday I WILL BEVER BE ALONE! Thank you God! Regardless of any situation I feel blessed to wake up and go to sleep every night with this boy. He’s not even 2 yet and he’s my rock. Not in a sense I put pressure on him to be strong for me but in a way that he has forced met to be the strongest woman I didn’t even know I could be,” Yao admitted, adding, “Thank you for pushing me to be the best me baby! I love you and I will NEVER let you down! Mama got you FOR LIFE AND ETERNITY AFTER THAT!”

Yao’s lengthy message came amidst her ex-husband and Makai’s father Malik Beasley‘s newfound romance with Larsa Pippen — which led to the mother of one filing for divorce from the Minnesota Timberwolves player on December 8.

Larsa, 46, and Malik, 24, were first spotted together at a mall in Miami, where Larsa lives, on November 23. The pair was photographed holding hands after they made a pitstop at Macy’s. Fans and critics alike were confused by the PDA pics, seeing as Malik was married to Yao at the time. Despite the chatter on social media, Larsa and Malik never addressed the photos directly, aside from a few cryptic Instagram quotes by the former Real Housewives of Miami star.

At the time, Yao appeared to address the photos of her then-husband and Larsa in a troubling post on Instagram. “Wow, I don’t even know this man…this is wild y’all…I’m seeing it for the first time just like y’all,” she wrote on December 1. In a separate story, she added, “Appreciate all the love y’all, for real,” along with prayer hands and a red heart emoji.
