Made in Chelseas Louise Thompson pays tribute to brother Sam after Im A Celebrity win
Former Made in Chelsea star Louise Thompson is one proud sister after her younger brother Sam Thompson stormed to victory on I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
Sam, 31, was crowned King of the Jungle at the end of the 2023 series of the ITV show on Sunday 10 November, after winning over the public and his campmates with his energetic attitude and loving hugs.
In the final two, vying to win the show, were Sam and his jungle best pal Tony Bellew, 41, and it was a close call between the pair, with Sam cinching 56.64 percent of the public vote.
As well as I'm A Celeb viewers, Sam's many celebrity pals threw their support behind the star, including his big sister Louise, 33.
On Monday, 11 November, she took to Instagram to pay a gushing tribute to him – whilst also revealing the exciting news that her two year old son, Leo, had learned to say his uncle's name for the first time.
Louise shared a selection of snaps of herself holding Leo, at Sam's Jungle Party, thrown by his girlfriend Zara McDermott at their London home during the show final.
In the caption, Louise wrote: "As cliché as it is I can’t find a better word than proud @samthompsonuk!!!!! So I’ll just go with proud x 1000000000000000.
"I just received a call from my brother (I happened to be looking at photos of his face on my phone when his name popped up which was a little odd, especially since our relationship has been v one sided and only via a tv screen for the last 3 weeks) but I’ve never been more thrilled to hear your voice. Instant tears (unsurprising from me). I can’t wait to have you back on home soil so that I can have one of your infamous hugs and also to see that wonderfully expressive face. xxxxxxxxx
"Missed ya."
Louise ended the post, writing: "Ps. Leo can finally say your name and this took no prompting," as she shared a video of her little one doing just that.
On Monday, Sam appeared on ITV's Lorraine via video link, where he got emotional watching a special message from his girlfriend, Zara McDermott, 26, who is waiting for him back in London.
Former Love Island star Zara said: "I don't think that the word 'proud' even cuts it anymore, because the way you carried yourself in that jungle, the way you made everyone feel so comfortable…You brought such a sparkle to that camp.
"I've never met anyone like you before. You are so beautifully unique and you are incredible, and I love you literally so much."
She ended her message, saying: "I cannot wait to have you back right here," as she patted his side of their bed.
Sam looked visibly emotional, as he said: "I miss her so much and I can't wait to get home to her."
