Lisa Armstrong has set tongues wagging after liking a scathing tweet about her ex-husband Ant McPartlin.
The Strictly Come Dancing make-up artist liked the unearthed tweet, which is at the top of her likes list, from way back in 2018, which read: “Lisa he's a p**** who has acted appallingly and really doesn't deserve the love of a good woman, like yourself.
"I hope you rinse him for every penny in the divorce and also that you find some better friends who don't think sh****** your ex is acceptable. Much love Hun xxxx.”
This month marks two years since the 45-year-old divorced Ant, 46, after 11 years of marriage.
Since then, Lisa has found love with electrician and fellow divorce James Green, 38, her first serious relationship since she was left heartbroken by the break-up.
They went public with their relationship last August shortly after James separated from his wife Kirsty, and now have matching tattoos.
A source said: “Lisa has well and truly moved on from Ant and she’s extremely happy with her boyfriend James. But it was a big part of her life and there are still some feelings of resentment. She just feels like she wasn’t treated right.”
Lisa’s decade-long marriage officially ended in October 2018 after Ant admitted to adultery with his former PA and now-wife Anne-Marie Corbett at the Central Family Court in London.
After their divorce, she fought to take home half of the Geordie star’s £50million fortune. Along with the whopping £31 million, Lisa won the right to keep the pair’s former £5 million home in West London but agreed to share permanent custody of their sweet dog Hurley.
Their marriage first started to buckle under pressure following Ant’s addiction to painkillers after knee surgery. A few months later Ant confirmed his relationship with Anne-Marie and left Lisa fuming over hearing the news second hand.
Rather than releasing an official statement, she went on to like a number of cryptic tweets whilst she was going through the divorce as fans of the former couple shared their opinions online.
One tweet she liked read: “I bet the money means nothing in some respects, it certainly can’t but the respect she deserves of the make up for the s****y spineless way he scurried off & tried to silence her.
“Whatever the sum is I'm sure it will be put to much better use & I wish her all the best,” followed by a love heart emoji.
Another tweet she liked theorised: “After 2 years coming off prescribed pain meds my hubby took the back lash, the moaning, the mood swings, the full c**p but 18yrs of marriage, loyalty and LOVE & we were still together, I think Ant is hiding something or someone so sorry huni.”
