Lauren Goodger has said she's "overwhelmed" with the support she's received following the heartbreaking death of her baby daughter Lorena.
Lauren, 35, gave birth to her second child on Friday 8 July, but in a devastating turn of events, her baby girl – whom she and partner Charles Drury, 24, named Lorena – passed away.
The pair also shared 11 month old Larose together.
Announcing the news on Instagram, Lauren penned next to a black and white photo of her holding her daughter's hand: "Lorena [angel emoji] R.I.P 08.07.22 she was the most beautiful healthy baby I’ve ever seen just like her sister @babylarose.x … words can’t describe as a mother losing your baby that I carried for all these months perfectly and gave birth too for my angel to be taken from me [angel emoji] there was no pregnancy or labour complications and she was fine & healthy but I am not going into detail right now just know that there was nothing wrong with her or myself she was perfect I can’t understand it she is so so beautiful Larose twin so similar.. I am broken.
“I am back home from hospital Me & Charlie spent as much time with our baby girl Lorena and I haven’t said my goodbye yet.”
Since sharing their heartbreaking news, Lauren has been inundated with support from both her celebrity friends and the rest of her 180,000 followers.
In the wake of this, a spokesperson for Lauren said she and Charles are "completely overwhelmed".
They told OK!: "Lauren and Charles would like to thank everyone for their amazing support at this hard time. The messages have been so lovely and even though it takes no pain away it really has helped to see how much support there is for them."
"They are completely overwhelmed and touched by the response," their spokesperson added.
Charles also shared the news of Lorena's passing on social media, where he said that he felt like he was "living in a bad dream".
He wrote: "Our beautiful baby girl so perfect in every way, 8/7/22 will always be your day. Your little heart will forever beat inside mine, I’ll love you until the end of time.
"Nothing will be the same without you, it’s like living a bad dream I can’t wake from, but your mummy & sister will keep me sane," he continued, referencing his and Lauren's 11 month old daughter Larose.
"You remind me so much like your big sister, you’d have looked like little twins, Larose will always know how beautiful & strong you were.
"I promise you i'll look after your mummy & sister forever, just look over us all & keep me strong, show me signs that you’re up in heaven where you belong. I’m sorry it had to be this way but I know we’ll be together again some day."
