Kerry Katona admits it was ‘emotional’ seeing daughters with Brian for first time in years

Kerry Katona and her ex-husband Brian McFadden were pictured together for the first time in years when they reunited for their daughter Molly’s 21st birthday in Ireland.

And speaking in her weekly column with OK!, Kerry, 42, says they all had a "brilliant time" partying together, adding that it was nice to see her ex-husband Brian. "I felt quite emotional seeing Lilly and Molly with their dad because I’ve never seen it before. It was really lovely to watch," she shared – only available to OK! VIPs. Here Kerry reveals what else they got up to in Ireland and how she celebrated her 42nd birthday.

RIP YOUR MAJESTY

I am absolutely devastated to hear about the passing of The Queen. I’m an emotional wreck. There are no words, it is just devastating news. She was the most inspirational woman and she always kept her dignity and her pride.

She was such a hard worker. I just can’t believe it. Things are never going to be the same again. She’s going to be so missed. Thanks for everything, Your Majesty. Rest in peace.

A PARTY TO REMEMBER

I’m back from Ireland now and what a brilliant time we had celebrating Molly’s 21st birthday. A few days before her party, we went out for some drinks and my God, my girls can drink! Lilly and Molly put me to shame.

Well, not in my heyday, but they definitely can now. We all had such a brilliant time – and the party was amazing. Everyone came together for Molly and that’s what it was all about.

Obviously, me and Brian were reunited at the party and it was nice to see him. And I felt quite emotional seeing Lilly and Molly with their dad because I’ve never seen it before. It was really lovely to watch. It was a brilliant night and I loved being back in Ireland.

We visited one of my favourite restaurants there, Captain Americas, and stayed at The Croke Park Hotel. We were treated like royalty! Ireland is like my second home and it was a massive part of my life.

BIRTHDAY TREAT

After a really busy time in Ireland, me and Ryan went to Moddershall Oaks Spa Retreat in Staffordshire for a bit of relaxation to celebrate my birthday.

We had some treatments and enjoyed an overnight stay – it was really lovely. I just see my birthday as another day, but it was nice to spend some quality time with Ryan. We’re back home to the kids now, so it’s back to reality and back to work commitments!

COOKING CHAOS

Celebrity Cooking School started on E4 last week and I’m really proud of it. It was so much fun to be part of and it’s been so funny watching it back. I think it’s a really honest show, which is what I love about it.

I must admit, I’d never heard of some of the contestants before I met them. I was paired with Toby Aromolaran from Love Island in the first episode. I had no idea who he was, but we got on great!

CONGRATS, JAKE

Congratulations to Jake Quickenden who has married his partner Sophie Church in Ibiza. The wedding looked stunning! I’ve worked with Jake a few times and I’m doing panto with him in Lincoln this Christmas, which I’m really looking forward to. He’s a great guy. I always call him Jake In The Box because he’s so crazy. He’s like Tigger on speed! I wish him all the happiness.

BE CAREFUL

Scarlett Moffatt has issued a warning to her followers after she was nearly kidnapped by a stranger in a train station, saying people need to be more wary of what they’re posting on social media. It comes after she was confronted at Kings Cross by a man who was “waiting for her” after she revealed her location on Instagram, which is absolutely terrifying.

She must have been so scared. We really do have to be careful about what we post because you don’t know who is watching. When I went on holiday, I made sure that I didn’t post any photos until I was back home. It’s not worth the risk.
