Inside Abbey Clancy and Peter Crouchs Surrey pad with marble kitchen, personalised sign and grand piano

As a former premiership star and a top model we’d expect Peter Crouch and his wife Abbey Clancy have a pretty swanky home. But even we were impressed when we got a glimpse into their Surrey pad in the footballer’s new documentary Peter Crouch: Save Our Beautiful Game.

The family kitchen boasts a huge white marble island with gleaming surfaces. But despite the spotless appearance, Abbey proves on the show that she’s not just a pretty face as she’s seen whipping up a lovely looking chilli con carne.

Pete and Abbey are clearly fans of the minimalist aesthetic as everything in their instal-fabulous kitchen is gleaming white from the bar stools to the sofas, even the flowers are white! In fact the only tell tale signs of the pair’s four children are a collection of arts and crafts pictures hanging on one wall.

One part of the spotless kitchen that isn’t white is the personalised road sign that hangs above the stove that proudly reads Abbey Street. But the kitchen isn’t the only room filled with grandeur. Another angle shows a grand piano in the hallway while another room features numerous bottles of champagne as well as memorabilia from Peter’s playing career.

The premise of the show sees former England International Peter attempt to raise funds to get struggling football club Dulwich Hamlet – who Peter once played for – back on their feet. One scene sees Abbey joking that he husband of over ten years is “too soft” for the gig before she concedes that he would in fact be an amazing manager because “everybody loves him”.

The former Strictly star is seen supporting her husband’s mission as she bargains with a local DIY store for some paint to do up the football club’s changing rooms. She is also seen acting as a sounding board for Peter as the pair go for a walk near their home to discuss the work he’s doing.

Peter, 41 and Abbey, 36, share two daughters, Sophia, 11 and Liberty, 7, and two sons, Johnny, 4, and Jack, 3. Despite being married a long time, the show offers a glimpse into their clearly happy marriage as they are seen teasing one another and Abbey joking that Peter is “like a child”. One scene see’s Abbey lightheartedly lament that her husband is “like a child” and that he has a floordrobe instead of a wardrobe.

At one point she also complains to one of the Dulwich Hamlet staffers that while Peter can place dirty dishes on top of the dishwasher, he doesn’t tend to put them inside!
