Helen Mirren, 76, looked absolutely sensational as she took her turn to strut down the L'Oréal catwalk as part of the ongoing Paris Fashion Week on Sunday.

The timeless star looked incredible as she power strutted down the runway in a fierce black suit featuring crystal embellishment, pairing her look with extreme teetering platforms and oversized black diamante hoop earrings.

Dame Helen's hair was twisted into a messy bun, but the real showstopper was the actresses' dramatic black smoky eye makeup, with an exaggerated eyeliner wing – the star looked worlds away from her usual more paired back style.

Helen was in safe company as she ditched her acting behind to take to modelling – as she joined Amber Heard and Camilla Cabello as they all took their turn leading the Fashion Week Glamour.

Mirren is no stranger to the catwalk, wowing fans just last year in a monochrome maxi dress as she ran down the runway bare foot – and this year is no exception.

Fans took to Twitter to share their delight, with one account commenting "Dame Helen Mirren is a goddess" and another claiming "Dame Helen Mirren spent Sunday afternoon looking fierce on the catwalk for L'Oreal in their latest show at Paris Fashion Week. Let's not forget… she's 76!!!!"

Another Twitter user said "Helen Mirren who stole the show….Helen Mirren is 76 years old and awesome." with another replying "I aspire to be half as badass as Helen Mirren. Icon."

Dame Helen has been busy promoting her new film The Duke – starring herself and Jim Broadbent in the British comedy due to hit screens early 2022.

The comedy, which is set for release in February, follows the story of a taxi driver, played by Kempton Bunton who steals Goya's painting of The Duke Of Wellington.
