In view of his 1.5 million followers, the This Morning chef told his critics to “get a life”.

It wasn’t long before the star was inundated with supportive messages from his fans.

Fearne Cotton left a row of heart eye emojis.

Instagram user amandawhittome_pmu wrote: “How can anyone say it’s wrong to kiss your child?!?!”

While karenalexander6755 added: “Go Gino go. What’s wrong with showing your children how much you love them!!!”

Gino shares sons Luciano and Rocco and daughter Mia with his wife Jessica Stellina Morrison, who he married in 2002.

His post comes months after David Beckham ignored critics who claimed there is something wrong with him kissing his 10 year old daughter Harper Seven on the lips.

The father of four shared a series of snaps of himself with Harper months ago, including one a snap of David kissing Harper on the lips.

In less than 24 hours, the post has received more than one million likes and many comments from some of his 70 million followers.

The photos received mostly positive responses from David’s fans.

An unnamed user penned: “So wonderful to see the love between a father and daughter! Love these photos!”

However, some took issue with the post and insisted Harper is too old to be kissed on the lips, leading to some of the star’s fans coming to David’s defence saying that the gesture is perfectly normal.

David was forced to hit back at critics questioning the gesture in a Facebook Live video in 2017.

The sportsman argued: “I got criticised for kissing my daughter on the lips the other day.

“I kiss all my kids on the lips. Brooklyn, maybe not. Brooklyn’s 18, he might find that a little bit strange.

“But I’m very affectionate with the kids…

“We want to show our kids love and we protect them, look after them, and support them, and you know, we’re very affectionate with them,” he added, speaking about his and his wife Victoria Beckham’s attitudes to raising their brood.
