You continue to read the book and it gets progressively more erotic as you get more turned on reading about these kinky people. You spend most of your time watching TV and getting bored. About four or five oclock in the morning you hear the sound of a helicopter. You immediately pick up the television again and turn on the channel you hear it coming from. This is the Ventura County Sheriffs Department in search of missing 16 year old Brenda Edwards of Long Beach, California. As of 9 AM this morning she has not been located. At about the same time, the FBI in Los Angeles is sending two agents to Ventura County to assist in the search. Brendas mother, Jeanette, is the mother of missing actress Elizabeth Short. Her husband, actor Robert Short, died in 1963 and her two children have never been able to find out why. It has already been six months since Brendas disappearance.
