You get a good jobYou decide that if youre going to be famous, you want to be famous as a real person. So you start a new life and change your name and everything. You try to make your new life into a picture book, but you soon find out that your artistic skills arent exactly that great. You still want to be famous, but the problem is, youre not particularly good at what you do. Eventually you give up on being famous, and you become a homeless recluse. You look up just in time to see the old man whos been following you all the way to the bus stop throwing a large rock at you. Youre so startled, you manage to turn your head just in time. The rock slams into you in the jaw, you collapse backwards on the ground, but dont fall completely out of consciousness. I was waiting for you to move if you were going to run. You look at the old man and then back at the rocks, and you realize what he means. You look over and see the old man standing right behind you. You dont think you made any motion to run, so after all he is a homeless man, you can either be stupid or he was waiting for you to move and caught you completely by surprise. You were right, you say, trying to speak, but your mouth feels like lead. You look back at the rocks in front of you, and theyre still there, still waiting for you to move. You go back to sleepYou lie there for a long time thinking up scary stories for your mom to read. You try to write down scary storiesYou do your best and you try to capture the terror of the stories you.
