The only other option is to sit here in front of the TV and hope that nobody walks by this late at night. You put on some clothesYou get your clothes and get into bed. Youre too tired to even shower in the morning and even if you did, your mother would probably yell at you for not dressing yourself for an important appointment. You dont feel too great, but you arent going to lie down. You take a look under your duvet and see only a t-shirt and a pair of sweatpants. You put on the t-shirt and dont put on the sweatpants. You lay there in your crappy dorm room and stare at the ceiling. The TV is on and youre watching whatever the Sports Center is on right now. You feel like youre alone in this room and alone in this world. Youve been wondering when you were going to wake up and now that youve finally woken up, you dont feel like leaving. You leaveYou get up and put your clothes back on. Your mother has locked the door with a padlock on it now. You have no idea why it keeps shutting itself. You walk into the kitchen to find a bottle of water and a can of tuna. You take the can and put the water in the microwave. It takes a minute but the water starts boiling and bubbling. You put the can of tuna in the microwave and put it in the microwave too. A minute passes and the water stops boiling and the microwave goes silent. Then, the microwave clicks and the can of tuna in the microwave goes cold. Youre hungry and this can of tuna looks like the only thing that you can find thats going to feed you for now. You dont get the least bit hungry again for the rest of the night and youre a little sleepy before you remember that you need to go to class in order to earn money for tomorrow. Youve slept on some of your money from when you were stealing soda from your older brothers friends and you know you dont have enough to go to the movies with your mom even if you just took her car. You grab your backpack of clothes and leave your room. You wake up and realize that youve oversle.
