River Ive been a fan of the Ohio River for many, many years. It always was one of the first places I was ever fortunate enough to go fishing. And it was one of the first places I went to visit regularly when I lived in the Ohio River Gorge, which is a few miles from the downtown Cincinnati area. As someone who loves nature, who has grown up near the Ohio River Gorge, and who has been spending a lot of time in the area for the past three years, Ive been wondering about some of the things that are important to people who love nature, and who are out there right now in the Ohio River Gorge and elsewhere in the region. Im not an expert on all things nature, but I did get my first year of college science, Im a chemist, and some natural history from a biology textbook. So I hope to include a bit of a bit of research-base level for what I say here. One thing to note, Im not talking about just the recreational use of the Ohio River, Im talking about the recreational use in general. Im not talking about the things that go on at a place like the Ohio River Boat Harbor. I am talking about people who go out to the Ohio River on fishing trips, canoeing, kayaking, kayaking on lakes. Now, with the recent uptick of people who are spending a lot of time in the Cincinnati area, I suppose it makes sense that there is a need for recreation in the area. But there are a lot of people who are spending a lot of time in the Cincinnati area who are not making the most of their time there. Here is a list of some of the things that are very popular in the Cincinnati area, and perhaps around the country, but I dont have any data on this, :Cincinnati is the Music Capital of the WorldThere is nothing like Cincinnati music. Thats not just the music, which is some of the best in the world, or the live music. Its the place to be if you seek good music, good dining, good shopping, and good time. This is a city that has a very large population of outdoor enthusiasts, including campers, This is a city that doesnt have a very large homeless population. This is a city that has easy access to a number of things in the form of transportationThis is the capital of a very conservative state.
