In exchange, the world provides them with food, water and basic necessities of life. The only thing that separates the Goodlings from the Corrupt is the Evillings, a large faction of Corrupts that believe in selfishness and violence. They want the world to keep progressing like it is now. The Evillies believe in spreading the good virtues of the world. They want to stop this progression by any means necessary. By overthrowing the Goodlings then the Evillies can turn the world back to its original state. When the Evillies try to overthrow the Goodlings, the Goodlings retaliate against them.
