If youre not one of the lucky ones, youre always welcome to join us. But even if you are, we hope youll make the effort to post here. The purpose of this group is simple, but extremely important. Youre going to have a hard time breastfeeding in public. Youre going to have times when youre not breastfeeding, and your nipples are going to be all over the place and someone is going to look at you in a way you may not wish. We need to feel supported in doing what we need to do with breastfeeding to keep it safe, to feed our babies and to keep our babies happy. Share your experiences about breastfeeding and other breastfeeding activities. Share your experiences about sharing with friends, family, and strangers. We will also have Breastfeeding Basics and Breastfeeding 101, with a great collection of questions and answers. We will post pictures of our babies to share in the hope that we all grow together. The more we can do together, the safer we can all be and the happier our babies. One Year AnniversaryYou have been posting and talking about breastfeeding for 1 year. Youve made a lot of friends, you have gotten through a lot of things that breastfeeding has put in front of you and youve had a lot of fun with this. If you can post a photo of yourself with your baby on our Facebook page, we can do this over and over. Thank you so much for all of your encouragement and for sharing with us. This whole year has really brought out your inner mom to you, has it not. Even just your own baby can bring out all of your maternal instincts. Your baby has helped you out and shown you what you need to do to feel better about yourself, and you are so happy for that. You are always looking for new people to tell stories and answer questions on breastfeeding. You also have a few new posts that you want to see. If you have any others you want to see, just post them in this group and we will try to do our best to keep updating the ones that people are asking for. You are always welcome to join in any of our activities. Even if you arent a member, you are welcome to come and hang out with your friends if you wish. We hope that you are enjoying our group as much as breastfeeding has.
