Ashley Banjo shares hilarious insight into ‘dad duties’ as he carries young daughter like a rag doll

Diversity star Ashley Banjo has given fans a hilarious insight into fatherhood with footage of his New Years Day all with his daughter Rose.

The former Britain’s Got Talent winner shared a video on his Instagram account of himself and his young daughter on a stroll, but as most parents know these are not always as simple as a walk in the park.

In the video the dancer and judge is holding his one-year-old little girl by her coat as as she hangs horizontal to the ground.

He captioned the hilarious post, writing: “2021 has started with the annual fresh air, fresh mindset walk

“But Rose didn’t want to walk … She wanted to be carried… Like this…”, alongside a string of laughing face emojis.

Ashley then continued: “Well At least her 2021 got off to a great start! Where as I’m sure I’m gonna have to take a visit to the physio for acute wrist injuries.

“She’s been hitting those Pom bears a bit too frequently over Christmas Happy New Year people #2021#dadduties ”

Many of Ashley's followers saw the funny side of the video, with one writing: "Are you even a parent if you haven't had to do the under the arm carry."

Another added: "What little girl hasn't been carried like this by her dad !!"

A third wrote: "I had to carry my 2 year old out of the supermarket in the very same way yesterday! #toddlerlife".

Ashley's brother Jordan, who also found fame on Diversity, joked that the way he was carrying his daughter would grab would spark complaints in the same way that the dance troupe's BLM routine did on Britain's Got Talent earlier this year.

Jordan wrote: "Hi Ofcom, yeah I’m good, happy new year by the way, now I don’t want to be a grass but I’ve seen something you’ve got to know".
