Dan + Shay's '10,000 Hours' With Justin Bieber Joins Spotify's Billions Club

Country duo Dan + Shay‘s “10,000 Hours” featuring Justin Bieber, has joined Spotify’s Billions Club.

“A billion is a difficult number to comprehend in general, but to know that one song has been streamed over a billion times on a single platform is just incredible,” Dan Smyers says. “We’re grateful for everyone who had a hand in creating ‘10,000 Hours, ‘and everyone who took the time to listen. Here’s to a billion more!”

“10,000 Hours” is from Dan + Shay’s 2021 album Good Things. The song was written by Smyers and Shay Mooney, along with Bieber, Jordan Reynolds, Jessie Jo Dillon and Jason Boyd.

The song marks Bieber’s 16th track to surpass a billion streams on Spotify, making him the artist with the most.

The song was named Best Country Duo/Group Performance at the 2021 Grammy Awards. The song also debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100.

It also made history on Billboard‘s Streaming Songs chart by becoming the highest-charting non-holiday country song in the history of the chart, besting the No. 9 peak of Florida Georgia Line‘s “Cruise”.
