Peter Andre’s family of 7: ‘Princess is very maternal, Millie is sweet – they can’t wait to help with the baby’
Peter Andre and his pregnant wife Emily are eagerly anticipating the arrival of their new baby, due in spring.
And no one is more thrilled to welcome a new addition to the family than their children, Millie, nine, and Theo, seven, and Peter’s older children Princess, 16, and Junior, 18.
Emily, 34, says Millie is hoping for a girl, while Theo wants a boy. And Peter, 50, reveals that Princess and Junior – who he describes as being “very excited” – also vote girl and boy.
With four older siblings, there will be plenty of hands on deck.
“The girls really want to get involved with helping with the baby, which is amazing,” the singer told OK!.
“The boys haven’t said much, but Junior did tell me the other day, ‘Dad, I’ve got a really strong feeling I’m going to have the best relationship with the baby.’”
Emily said: “Princess is very maternal. She’s really good,” while Pete added: “Although Junior will absolutely fall in love. He’s just a typical teenage boy – I’ve been there.”
The NHS doctor, who has opened up about her "relentless" nausea during the pregnancy, continued: “I think Princess and Milly will do it together. I think they’ll be very sweet.”
The couple announced their pregnancy news in October in a sweet Instagram post.
Pete wrote alongside: "We are delighted to share the news with you all. A new addition to our family in 2024 The kids are so excited, So are we."
It came after the singer hinted he was open to having a fifth child earlier this year when he was speaking about parenthood to Vicky Pattison on her podcast The Secret To.
When asked about whether or not he would like another child in the future, Peter candidly replied: "Children… I was like, when I get to 50 I'm done and then I find myself having conversations with Em going, 'Yeah you know, if we did have another child, where would we put Junior?'"
He added: "I can't even believe we have those conversations and that makes me think that I just don't know, it's just one of those things. It's just weird that we even have those conversations, so I don't know."
