Victoria Beckham cried after watching emotional documentary scene with David
Victoria Beckham has opened up about starring in the new docuseries centred on her husband’s life. The fashion designer claimed that she “cried” during the closing scene of the Netflix show.
In September, the four-part Beckham documentary dropped on the streaming service. The show gave an intimate look into David Beckham’s rise to fame, and his relationship and marriage to Victoria, 49.
Speaking to Allure magazine, the businesswoman has discussed one particular moment which made her “emotional”. The scene in question sees herself and the 48-year-old former footballer dancing in their kitchen to the iconic ‘80s track, Islands in the Stream.
The closing moment of the documentary made the former Spice Girl reflect on her life with David – whom she met back in 1997. Regarding the dance, Victoria said: “I cried when I saw the last scene of the documentary.”
“It was an emotional experience,” she explained. “Then when you look at our journey and us dancing in the tent,” Victoria trailed off.

The fashion mogul also revealed that after the limited series was released on Netflix, she and the Inter Miami FC owner headed to a local pub.
“The other night, me and David drove to our country house and went to the local pub,” she began.
“When they got back to their car, someone had put a note under the windscreen wiper: ‘Dear Posh and Becks, On behalf of all the British football fans, we are sorry.’
She added that her husband had said: “We need to go out and lap this up more often.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Victoria revealed that the ex-Manchester United midfielder has never seen her without her eyebrows done.
She admitted: “I’m obsessed with brows — my husband has never seen me without my eyebrows.”

The singer added that makeup was her “thing” and that it figures as the “only thing” she was good at during school “was art”.
“I’ve always had to work really hard,” the mum-of-four explained. “At school, I had to work really hard to get less-than-average grades.
“When I was dancing and singing, I had to work really hard to be good, but was never good enough.”
Victoria said that she was an “alright” dancer and singer, and claimed that people were quick to tell her that she couldn’t do the latter.
“I can joke about it better than anybody,” she revealed. “I’ll take the mickey out of myself.”
